For the first time the 2013 Garden Festival takes place in the glorious gardens and lawns around the house at Hillsborough Castle. A very special day out for gardeners and families alike! Pictured above the Lady Alice Temple with a host of daffodils lining Lime Tree walk.

Parking

Please note: due to the extreme weather conditions, parking on Sunday 19 May will be at the Maze. Follow AA signs down Culcavy Road, Hillsborough and keep straight on for approx 1 mile to Gate 1 on your left into the Maze site. (Address: Maze Long Kesh, 94a Halftown Rd, Lisburn BT27 5RF).

Shuttle buses will run from there to the front gate of Hillsborough Castle.

Your plants and purchases will be transported back on the buses too!

Tickets bought online are at a discounted rate.

Adult £9. Concession £7. FREE for children (under the age of 16 accompanied by an adult).

Remember to print out your ticket and bring it to the entrance of the Garden Festival!

Please note credit card facilities are not available at the Garden Show gate. If you wish to pay by credit card, please use the online facility.

House Visits

Hillsborough Castle's rooms will be open for Garden Festival patrons to visit during the Show at the very special rate of £3.50 Adult, £2 Concessions. Tickets can be bought at the door.

Access

Disabled areas are provided in the car park and minibus transfer to the Garden Festival area is provided for those who require assistance.

Please note, areas of the gardens include steep slopes and uneven surfaces which are unsuitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility problems.

Currency

ATMs to obtain sterling currency are available nearby in Hillsborough village, in the Sprucefield shopping centres and in The Outlet at Banbridge. Visitors are advised to obtain cash before arriving at the Show.

Dogs

Dogs are sadly not allowed access to the house or gardens at Hillsborough Castle. Guide dogs only are allowed.
