‘It’s In Our Nature’at Garden Show Ireland

Orla Curry (4) from Killyleagh, Co. Down was wide-eyed with wonder at two of Northern Ireland’s endangered species, as she launches the Environment and Heritage Service (EHS) sponsorship of Garden Show Ireland this year.

The Brent Goose and the Blue Eyed Grass are two of our native species needing our help and protection.  They feature in EHS’ ‘It’s In Our Nature’ campaign, promoting biodiversity.  Orla is holding up a copy of ‘Ten Top Tips’ for biodiversity, which will tell us all how we can help and protect species in our gardens and elsewhere.  Children attending the Garden Show this year will be amused for hours as they get introduced to the wonders of nature around them.
