The Garden Show Miniature Gardens

The garden designers of the future

On display in the Floral Village were some of the garden designers of the future, Miniature gardens of imagination have been produced by pupils aged 8 to 11 from four integrated schools. Some 140 children took part in this exciting and creative exercise learning in the process some fundamentals of horticulture and having a lot of fun!

The gardens were judged by the Show Garden's four judges. Certificates were presented to participants and the winning school will receive some magnificent trees presented by CAFRE to encourage more budding garden designers in the future.
