Media coverage of 2005's event surpassed all expectations with BBC television, TV3 and UTV all covering the progress of The Garden Show 2005. The event received live television coverage and 8 live BBC Radio broadcasts throughout the week of the Show.
Russell Allardice, a student at Greenmount College who designed a City Chic Garden was lucky enough to have his garden used as a TV studio by TV3, Ireland's independent television network.
And coming up just before the 2006 Show the BBC's new Secret Garden programme will feature the Interactive Sensory Garden which has been relocated to Flemming Fulton School as a permanent garden to promote learning beyond the classroom.
